Lüclay began as a quarantine hobby and blossomed into a full-time business by the end of 2020. Luísa, the founder and owner, discovered her passion for ceramics, crafting organically shaped pieces intended for everyone. Handmade from stoneware clay, each piece originates in our Mafra-based studio, where Luísa dedicates her artistry to creating organic, intentionally imperfect, and subtly misshapen forms. The process starts with the careful crafting of silhouettes through pinch technique, gradually taking shape as various tableware and homeware items. This intuitive approach to shaping doesn't just produce unique items; it breathes life into these still objects, showcasing a beautiful dance of moving handicraft.
